As part of MED Week, the Department of Commerce’s Office of Business Services is hosting a virtual event, Exploring Entrepreneurship, on Wednesday, October 6th from 10:30am-12:00pm.
This event is targeted to entrepreneurs who are planning to open home-based businesses and looking for resources on digital marketing, social media, startup financing, and City resources to take their business from conception to launch.
Featured speakers include: Gillian Robbins from the Free Library’s Business Resource and Innovation Center, Bob Coleman from Entrepreneur Works, and Salim Wilson from the Office of Business Services. The event will be moderated by State Senator Vincent Hughes and opening remarks will be provided by NazAarah Sabree, Senior Director of the Office of Businesses Services.
