We know that small businesses owned by people of color or women have been some of the hardest hit by the pandemic. Between February and April 2020 alone, the number of active

Black-owned businesses declined by 41%
Latinx-owned businesses declined by 32%
Asian-owned businesses dropped by 25%

versus just 21% for the general population.

Through the Comcast RISE Investment Fund, 100 small businesses owned by people of color including Black, Indigenous, Hispanic, and Asian Americans, and women in Philadelphia will receive a $10,000 grant. But there are just 7 days until the application window closes on June 14^th.

We encourage you to apply at www.ComcastRISE.com by June 14^th. Recipients will be announced at the end of July.
